Sounds like summer RosefriendIt's dull and damp and in some parts misty here this morning. I heard the forecast a while ago and they say the sun will come out and temps will be about 18c. Are they having a laugh I wonder, it sure does'nt look like it at the moment.

We had 20degC on Saturday and as it was so windy we couldn't have the awning out and it was 38degC on the terrace - even with the awning with 35degC we will be over 40degC...far too hot and all the plants will be roasted. Roses tend to last one day in those temps!! Must admit that the older I get the less I like these high temperatures.. RF

I'm the same Rosefriend, some of my neighbours sit outside all day long while I'm popping out and in briefly and keeping to the shade when it's really hot. Extremes indeed for you, did you see that in Siberia it was 30c one day and they had tons of snow the next day!!!!

We have finally come down to 28.5 from 29.7degC and it's nearly 8pm here - I am wet through and there is more to come tomorrow and Thursday - up to a possible 37degC....think we have to be inside in the afternoons - it is just too hot. I have just watered enough for things to carry on living but will have to do the GH's again tomorrow morning...

I'm not surprised you did'nt sleep well Rosefriend. Those are pretty high temperatures, I could'nt cope well with them any more. We had a good day yesterday, not a lot of sunshine but temps as high as 22 they say, more like 18 c or 19c around where I live. Today it's ment to be cloudy all day with a high of 17c.

Snap Auricula for the temp, we have a cold wind blowing but when the sun peeps through its lovely. A day for cardigans rather than short sleeves 'tho. Rosefriend that's hot for moring time. In our best summers ............I'm sure I can remember that far back....... we'd get that at the hottest time of day.

It was hot and muggy here overnight and the heat continues as we have blue skies and strong sunshine with barely any breeze. I've been and watered all the pots and the WIG, had to water a few plants which were showing signs of wilting.
