We've got it Dutchy! It was 20.5c when I went to bed at 12:30 and didn't drop below 16.5c. Currently 24c and humid, I'm already frazzled. |

We got it late in the afternoon yesterday and now despite clouds we have warmth and sunshine too.

It's cooler today with the breeze, it's still sunny though, last night we sat in the garden watching the owl and the bats when the heavens opened, we had to run into the back room and abandon the cushions it was so heavy, great big rain drops, but lord was it hot overnight, had every window open so when the breeze got up early on this morning all the doors were slamming so I had to get up and shut everything.

We had some overnight rain but it has dried up this morning. Very heavy cloud though so we could get more. Not too cold out.

It's chucking it down here, we went to the races in Cartmel yesterday and there we had just one heavy shower, it doesn't look like September is going to be much better, sometimes we have an Indian summer then, but not this year  |

It's been 13 degrees overnight, that's warmer than some days we had in August  a high of 23 is for today, sunny and no wind, nice. |

It was 32 degrees yesterday, in the GH it was over 40, the tomatoes will cook themselves this week.

Hot, hot , hot again, too hot to garden in, much too hot on the allotments, so were off to the seaside for the day where it's cooler, new Brighton in where were headed.

Have a lovely time Barbara, should be a bit cooler at the beach if there is a sea breeze. It was a warm, sticky night but it is overcast at the moment so not getting any warmer, still hot though. It may take a while to burn off as it looks quite dense. |

We had a little shower this morning, it didn't even wet the ground, it's so humid I can hardly get my breath, need to go back to the coast I think.

Pics are back - I can see you Barbara,!! 30C here and I still have everything closed up tight...together with my compression stockings I am rather warm...that is the reason that I stopped wearing them - 40/50C in the tunnel!! |

Another very warm day in store, then it's supposed to break and rain all weekend, last night at bowling everyone was moaning about the heat, next week they will be moaning about something else |

Far too hot for me, especially overnight as it was still over 24c indoors first thing and 20c outside. At the moment it is overcast but as soon as the sun burns through it will be even more hot & sticky. Bring on 'normal' service so I can breath easily again.
