It didn't even wet the ground, the temps are still in the mid twenties, too warm to sleep properly again tonight.

It rained overnight, not a lot but enough to water the garden and put some in the water butt, feels much fresher here today.

Yesterday the sky kind of fell down at night. It did a very impressive downpour making me think how lucky I am that I am no where near mountains as it would have created flush floods.

It was awful to see the homes in Devon full of mud yesterday. We've had rain overnight and quite a bit looking at the rain gauge. This morning it has dried up a bit but is very windy.

So sad Tig, it will take a long time to get those homes dry and habitable. Alan took Brenna out for their usual early morning walk and Princess Brenna got caught in torrential rain - she is not a fan of getting wet! |
