We had a few strong gusts but not as bad as they were originally forecasting. A few sharp showers though.

Loads of rain overnight & very windy for a while. Calmed down this morning, milder and the sun is trying to find one of the little blue bits in the sky.

A yellow weather warning here for the wind /rain today and tomorrow, bad in Scotland where they have red warnings and floods too, guess where we are going tomorrow for a wedding, yes Scotland, we are staying a few days having a little break, might have to batten down the hatches up there.

There has been wind and rrrain all night here , we don't get much water standing being on side of a hill but I know without seeing it that the main road that runs along the bottom will have a lake ,my small abalisk is down probably snapped off as it was rusted , it can stay down until this wind has passed , I should have cut the clemetis down so my fault .
Hope everyone travelling stays safe the further North you go the worse it is.

The rain bashing against the bedroom window woke me up during the night, for a while it was torrential. It has been a mild, blustery and wet morning. Safe journey north Barbara, hope the wedding venue isn't affected by flooding. |
