Summer was here for 2 days but it was horrid today - non stop rain and the heating came on!

For the first time the aurora was visible here, it wasn't until around midnight and was pale but the sky was pinkish with green tinges. Another warm sunny start, a light breeze but there care clouds forming.

Overcast and not as mild. The heating came on briefly this morning. We've had a few really heavy showers with sunshine in between today.

Same here Tig, It's June this weekend and then summer will be almost gone before we know it, it has been the wettest I can remember for a long time. |

I'm taking every sunny day as 'summer' Barbara, we have had a few but they are interspersed with late spring, early autumn type days, apart from the hours of daylight. It has been a day of sunshine & showers with more of the latter than the former. |

Last day of spring according to the weather post I get, a great start to the day, had my cuppa in the garden blue sky and sunshine, the weekend looks set fine for us.

It's so windy here..the empty bins all got blown over and plastic pots travelling down the road too. Overcast as well...think we're in for some rain too.

Summer arrived here yesterday, and has returned again today, the solstice must have brought it. Feels quite tropical after when seems like a very cool June.
