Hello all I've just been having a little look on the gardeners gardens threads. It's lovely to see pictures of all those much loved gardens, especially on a rotten wet, windy day like today. I'm itching to get outside, my front garden is looking so sorry for itself. Keep up the good work peeps, and keep posting those garden pics, I'm going to need lots of inspiration in the back garden when I finally get out there!

I love those thread too jonah. You can get some fab ideas and they all have something in them that I like in one form or another wether it be a plant, a shrub, a pot, a particular colour combination, edgings to borders in fact all number of things. Off the top of my head at this late hour I love CPB's Arbour and the Metal Screen in Plockets garden and loads of other bits and bobs in others.

I really can't wait to spend some quality time outside. What I wouldn't give to be spending some time in Scarecrows lovely garden right now! I can't remember what was what now, but I do like Plockets style, quite eclectic and 'lived in' [that's meant as a compliment Plocket if you read this!] I've got a small space too, and it shows me just how much fun you can have with plants and different structures/ ornaments. And is it Plantaholic with the large, sloping garden? My children would love running around there.

Thanks Jonah - I'll take it as a compliment!! ;D
I've had a look around online for the screen but the only place I know that sells them is near me. They are a funny little outlet and don't have a website - they didn't even accept credit cards the last time I was there. And it's a bit big and bulky to post I'm afraid!

Just had to say...... I've loved TJ's ID threads, it's made me realise I know more than maybe I thought about gardening and it's great that everyone can get involved. ;D

My OH is well capable of making stuff like your screen Plocket, if he would just spend less time on Motorcycles and Tractors! Now that really would be the way to my heart. ;D I would have to drop a hint the size of a monolith, though.

Perhaps he should start up a business Sweetleaf - that way he could make money from it, rather than just hoarding stuff.

Ooooo I've been to Willowpool with Margi - we had lunch under one of those gazebo things!
Of course your seeds should be on their way Sweetleaf - they probably just pack the garlic differently from the seed packets. I'm hoping to get my T&M stuff and my wormery soon.

It's alright. You're right, you were lucky, and the rest of us are all pschopathic monsters. But it's OK, because us psychopathic monsters don't have feelings to upset. Traumas in our childhood have led to us learning how to block them out. So, don't worry, we'll be fine

Plocket
If you decide to come to see our garden and visit the reclaimation yard, bring OH and Little P with you, they will also be more than welcome. I can then vouch for Sleepy, he is a gentleman (but don't for Heaven's sake tell him I told you!)

Just planted out the ridiculously expensive 'potted' xmas tree and, as feared, found a sad clenched fist of a cut-down rootball wedged into supportive clay. If it revives, even in fabulous Norfolk soil, it'll be a miracle (and that'd make two for xmas then).
Anyone fared better?
OM.

I'm so misunderstood! Thanks Piggin - I'll certainly bear that in mind. I've not got around to planting my tree yet OM but it's looking much happier just being outside.

I had a peach tree that was like that last year........it died, never stood a chance really Some of these nurseries just dont care what happens to the tree as long as they have their money...
