No problem! keep an eye on this thread in case of changes in the plan ......if its raining we may meet under shelter, but at the moment we meet up at the main gate at 12, sleepy will be holding a sheet of a4 with a message... something like message board friends. Details to be confirmed. See you there, Alicat! ;D

Here is a map to ensure that we are of one accord: The arrow indicates where we are meeting, unless it's raining and then it's just a case of going in the main pavilion along side.

Well, I expect you're all too busy packing your lunch bags and getting excited waiting for the school coach to read this but I hope you all have a wonderful day and the weather's better than in wet, but hot Norfolk. Don't buy any pink daffs, ok? It's easy to get carried away in all the excitement but you'll regret it! Have a good time everyone and I look forward to the report back.

I hope they're having a nice time, and weather isn't doing what it's doing here... otherwise they'll be rather damp!

It was excellent. And everyone is as nice as they seem on the boards. Very little interest in my fish paste sandwishes though. No Sweetleaf though. I hope shes OK.

Hi All We had a great day at Kings Heath and a lovely picnic - here we are sharing a glass of wine courtesy of Sleepy: Pictured from the left are - Sleepy Sunday, Piggingardener, Mary Poppins1's Mum, Mary Poppins1 and Alicat. And - just for David K - a picture of his pin up girl: We unfortunately missed Sweetleaf - I do hope she is ok we are so sorry to have missed her. The weather was glorious, especially after yesterday's heavy rain. Bought loads of bulbs and plants - we'll be hoping for nice weather next weekend so we can get them all planted. Great to see everyone and nice to put faces to names. Cheers PG

Hi Sleepy I was there... but unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances, (wm travel) we were delayed and arrived 20 minutes late. I looked for you all day but didnt catch sight of you. I`m very sorry I missed you all, as I was really looking forward to it, I was pretty P***ed off believe me! Christine Walkden is the most boring woman on the planet , I almost fell asleep during her rambling speech about how she got her tv show and she said BOO!... loudly, twice. I`m sure that was to keep us awake. Nevertheless I had a good day, and would definitely go again! I bought loads of plants and seeds and stayed till 5.30 to take advantage of the sell-off of annuals from the displays, £1 each was too much to resist, so came home loaded with goodies, mostly annuals but there was a stall selling perrennials 5 for £5 and other bargains including a 4ft clematis called Ville de Lyon, for £4 ;D

Hiya Sweetleaf We were watching Christine at the same time as you!! We were also at the main gate until 12:25 so must only just have missed you!! You will love your ville de lyon here's a picture of mine: It flowers really well - twice most years. So sorry to have missed you. Better luck next year!! PG

Aah you all look good sorts - I feel quite envious! Mary Poppins looks quite unlike how I imagine - in fact (sorry if it is rude to comment) I think you look like the actress Barbara Flynn - the one who was in A Very Peculiar Practice and the Biederbeck Affair and was the wife of Robbie Coltrane in Cracker. A young version of course. And this is good news because every man I've ever known has really fancied her! LOL.
What a shame Sweetleaf didn't get to join you.
Rhoda

(was it you, giggling?) I got her autograph for DK, though Cant wait to tell him!

Thanks guys! So glad you had a good time (even if you couldn't find Sweetleaf - I'm glad she's surfaced now though...)
That Sleepy Sunday has some good ideas too - I bet a glass of wine helped in all sorts of ways... And isn't it nice to find that everyone else on the boards is a normal human being? (Approximately!) Also, I must look to my laurels as the board member who has met most others - so far I've met five (and missed another one by a matter of minutes!) but you lot are coming up behind me fast!!!

BTW Sweetleaf - how on earth did she get her TV show? The horrible woman snubbed me on the message boards so I delight in hearing everything bad about her!

Apparently some woman at the beeb refused her once in an almost defamatory way ;D, for flying gardener believe it or not, and later begged her to come back for her own show, because of her enthusiasm
