I'm in. I'll take the Dutch if I have a choice but if not, I'll get what I'm given ! As for England last night........ Lampard was anonymous, Rooney got no service, Lennon has no end product, Milner looked rubbish, so did Wright-Phillips when he came on, Ledley King got injured - what a surprise - Carragher looked rusty when he came on & Rob Green made a bad error but a good save to make up for it in the 2nd half. Ashley Cole, Glenn Johnson, Steven Gerrard & Emile Heskey were our best players but they were the only ones who had reasonable games. FA x

So, hot topic on the tv & radio today - vuvuzela trumpets. Like them or loathe them ?
Personally, I find watching the games like sitting in a hornets nest and I detest them. I'm hoping that they ban them because I'm having to watch all the games with the sound down so I can barely hear it at the moment.

Must admit that I could do without it...docs here have warned that there could be a lot of hearing problems and they have been banned on all open venues....but they have been allowed in beer gardens!!!
I honestly can't see the logic and after Germany's 4-0 win (just rubbing it in) everyone was blowing them no matter where they were!!!

Well, Trinidad is not in the finals this time around - Trinidad and Tobago, to be more precise - and Canada isn't in either, so I guess I'll be rooting for England. At least I know all "the lads" since I watch the Premier League all season. I couldn't believe that goal that Green gave up. It's the sort of goal that Harry Redknap would say, "Even my missus would have saved that". I feel for him though, Green, I mean; not 'arry. He's a very good goalkeeper so he'll bounce back.

I'll be in too please Missy - I'll take what I'm given, but have a soft spot for Portugal ( anyplace that provides us with Jose must be good). But....you know what they say.....Football is a team game of 2 halves.....and the Germans always win!!! C'mon England.........................................
