Shocking. I feel sorry for the people who've paid thousands of pounds and travelled thousands of miles to watch that garbage. As for Rooney's comments, shame on him. The fans are entitled to their opinions and his petulance does him no favours at all.
Lets hope we can beat Slovenia on Wednesday.

We simply have to change the system. My preferred option is Rooney up front as a lone striker, supported by Lampard & Gerrard with Barry, Lennon & Joe Cole as the other midfielders. Dawson should replace Carragher at the back but otherwise the back 4 plus the goalkeeper should stay the same as the other night. I bet he doesn't do it though. I bet he plays 2 up front again and Upson at the back.

Is it just me or is this World Cup turning out to be more entertaining off the pitch, rather than on the pitch? All this poncing about by the French is hysterical - they don't like their manager so Anelka was sent home. The captain has had a barny so the team won't practice. And the fitness coach is in a paddy too!!! Heavens it makes our team seem so boring, even if they can't win a bloody match!!!

TBH i thought we would haved put up a better show,didnt expect our defence to go awol,thought our biggest problem would be scoring goals,not giving them away

I though we played not to bad but the defence was rubbish in the second half. The referee was rubish Lampards goal was so plain to see.. But England gave away to many chances in the secong half. Bad news for us but im ENGLAND till i die |
