Sweetleaf has a point. Without restraint I can be really wicked.
Go on... ignore me. Allow me to unleash my full potential.

OOOh dear! ;D
::)I know, hows the garden, are any of your clems still in flower? Are the builders careful with your plants?
|
|
|
Post by Plocket on Nov 30, 2006 11:13:05 GMT
PML!!! The garden is looking wintery but Freckles and Silver Moon are still hanging in there. The builders were pretty good actually but most of my front garden lives in containers so they were easy to move out of the way. The porch is actually beside a row or high hedge of conifers which has slate underneath. There isn't really much for them to damage! I can't wait to put my pots back in place when the porch is done though.
So how's things with you today Sweetleaf?

Now hang on just a minute there. When did I turn a thread smutty? I strongly dispute that.
may I remind you that it was you two that started talking about Plocket's sex life, not I. I merely cautioned Sara so that she understood what you were on about so that she didn't 'put her foot in it' so to speak.
Pure as the driven snow I am.

Sara, Word of advice: You are talking real doors and locks. I think you will find that Plocket and Sweetleaf are discussing Plocket's sex life, but for discretion are talking in code. You can tell by reading between the lines: "I've put oil in the key hole both inside and outside the house" "...and it's all there in front to be fiddled with" "We can get in and out of the house via our garage" Bear this in mind when chipping in

Things are ok, Plocket, apart from the high winds blowing next doors garbage all over the place, Ive been out twice to dredge the pond, she doesnt shred her personal correspondence, I note My porch guy has just turned up to do some final measurements and talk about detailing so Ill be away from the PC for a little while....cuinabit

See ya Sweetleaf! Good luck with the measuring but I'm not sure what to suggest about the garbage. Hopefully the wind will calm down soon. Can't wait to hear more about your porch - it must be a seasonal thing because a friend of mine has just arranged to have a porch built too. Or perhaps it's just catching??? ;D

So you were talking to yourself? ? Glad you've got the finer details of the porch sorted - I couldn't believe how many little things needed to be sorted with ours: the colour of the windowsills, the colour of the door handle and fittings, the style of windows....... It was fun though!!! ;D

Cool!! We are having gold fittings to match with our front door. Which is looking a bit shabby but I can't afford to replace the fittings!!!
So come on then, describe what you are having done!
|
|
|
Post by sweetleaf on Nov 30, 2006 13:11:21 GMT
Right, are we sitting comfortably...good then Ill begin, ;D
Im having a new plastic bay window in the living room with a pent slate roof over it ,which will also cover the new porch.
White soffits and fittings, and white guttering, French doors with security bolts and two side windows to the porch, and white trim inside, plastering and trimming will be included, and the floor will be black welsh slate as previously mentioned, windowsillsl will be the widest they make to accomodate overwintering plants and security light with PIR to be fitted outside, for when the lamp-post is not lit..alarms will be altered as there is currently no cover for the porch. And I dont have to do any of it......luxury ;D ;D ;D

Now I'm not sure if Sweetleaf and Big P are off-line to get away from me or because they're are having their afternoon nap. I suspect the latter at their age.
