Beauties again Roan. The last especially. I like to see insect life 'engaging' with flowers ;D

Beauties again Roan. The last especially. I like to see insect life 'engaging' with flowers ;D They flit around so quickly that we don't really get a chance to see what they are up to unless we can "freeze frame" them in action!

Roan....those white Anemones remind me of the dead sticks I cut down yesterday!! Mine'll be along again in about 6 months time! Ours don't die, they are green all year round and make great ground cover. It must be our milder climate. We only have two colours at the moment, although we have our eye on a nice orange one we would like to have at the back of our section. Hope you post some pictures of yours when they are in flower!

Heart stopping photos Roan And an idea. It is pouring here, so I might take my wee grandson to Glasgow Botanic Gardens and take him to the hothouses. With my camera.

Oh they are lush! So exotic Are they called naked ladies because they have no leaves then? Yes, the flower comes first, then later on the leaves.
