Gorgeous flowers Roan - I hope we can cheer up your winter days with pics of our gardens. The Day Lily is rather splendid ....do you happen to have a name for it.
Those pics are lovely FB......the sweetpeas are marvellous. The Datura are great as well - we used to have one years ago, but it just got so big that even after cutting it we couldn't get down the cellar steps.....

They can get big,RF,my biggest one ive left outside this winter,covered up,dont know if it will servive if we get hard frosts

It's the Triffid, also known as our pumpkin. One plant has taken over a big chunk of our back garden!

Monday 4th February 2008 Fine, sunny and warm @ 31C In our garden today: The little flowers on the Manuka Tree Our Triffid is now climbing our plum tree! And overwhelming our Pelargoniums!
