Lullufish says 'Wow'....my old cat Freddy used to say 'm-NOW'.....another old cat (Mabel) would say 'Mello' in greeting...but our 'new' cat (Priya) just says 'meep'....just thought it was interesting that's all...... ;D

Aww - shame your tummytickle bonding has been interrupted by Noodle (mind you, go careful when Noodle's gone home, some cats tempt you to tummy-tickle and then savage your hand!!) Re the thread title, while I was catching up just now the ad banner offered me Up-the-skirt-pics-of Britney , and is now offering me a discount on a Rampant Rabbit!! ;D ;D ;D

As a new cat owner can I just say aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwww!
I never owned cats, OH always had a cat in the house & after a week of 2 cats under our roof, they have stolen my heart. For someone who says they don't like cats you must be spending a fortune on tuna & you are taking a lot of photos.
They say that a cat picks you, so I know that when we let them out, there is the chance that they will not want to be with us.
I don't want to be the one to tell you but I think Lulu chose you and she is very pretty!
Sorry but i have to aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww! LOL

OM. I think she's looking quite porky for a cat that's been left to fend for herself (how could you leave your ickle Lulufish, OM ) Have you counted the pheasants? ;D

Porky, NO? Porky? Must be getting something then, I haven't found many lulutrophies around the place as I used to - maybe it's she's eating them... has given up car-squatting in favour of this now: As cat-baskets go, it's not very luxurious. And it is very exposed. Noodles returns for more camp fun with rascallyscarfacenephew in a few weeks - but I think a reasonable accord has been reached: Lulu now knows all the safe places, the high ledges, the broken windows, the gappy doors that an athletic killing-machine of a cat can get to and a porky labradoodle can't. OM.

what are you talking about Jen? Missy, don't you remember when OM started a thread called "My name is OM and I am a CYLINDER!" to do with the fact that he was the same thickness all the way up and down!! ;D I don't really think Lulu is porky, no Siamese is, but in that pic she looked like a skittle! ;D

Was in the GH and, as ever Lu appeared from nowhere and came in and skulked under the benches until suddenly she went to the door and positively 'pointed' (like a pointer dog, not like in 'ooo look over there' and an urgent raising of the paw) at the house, about 15 feet away. She then went into Plains of the Serengeti huntress mode, threading her way slowly through the red hot pokers until she was crouched over the curious deep gulley thing that runs around that end of the house. I went over to see what it she could possibly have heard from that distance (and with me clattering around) and this was it: I must have said something like 'well I never' cos she looked up and plainly said 'Yeah, impressive, ain't it. Good hearing is a characteristic of the noble huntress - now get it out so I can play with it.' So I did (no, the hedgehog, Chuckles, the hedgehog) but she soon gave up and HH wandered off. This excitement/showing off took its toll. A few minutes later I found her in the half-filled pot I was about to top up with something or other, (bacopa, I think) so I left her dreaming of bringing down a gnu... OM.
