Couldn't do it today, she was too busy (a little boy had to be admitted to hospital ) But I have another appointment for tomorrow and she will see me just before then. The doctor said there is no reason why I cant have it so fingers crossed. Your doing really well by the way - keep it up ;D

Ha finally managed to see the nurse today and she has given me a prescription for Champix. Apparently the prescription charge went up to £7.10 yesterday Bloody hell! So anyway I am going to sort it out at the weekend and start taking it next week. She said it might make me feel sick (something to look forward to then!) but no one has actually thrown up from it I would rather feel sick than die of cancer so I wont let that put me off! Cant wait to start smelling nice for a change. All I have to do now is persuade someone else to stop and we've cracked it ;D

Went and got my tablets this morning, going to start taking them tomorrow. Have got to pick a quit day now Do they make you feel sick Barbara? that seems to be the most common side effect. I hate feeling sick Looking forward to having some money in my purse for a change. Karl is going on the patches the day I stop (hmmmmmmmm !) and the money we save is going to my Lorry driving fund. So wish me luck ;D

Our practice anti smoking nurse, who to be honest I'm not keen on, said I couldnt have them cos I take anti depressants (long story I wont bore you with, but I'm not a nut honest ) I'd love to come off them as well. Gave me patches and microtabs (YUCK) She's very much a no pain no gain type, but then she's never smoked. I really do want to stop, I want OH to stop as well but thats his choice.
