I did learn that you really, really, have to want to do this all by yourself. There is no halfway. Nicotine, does not allow a sneaky one now and then, or only when your out. It may be legal but it's no worse than a lot that aren't and it's a darn sight more unsociable.
You are the only one that can stop this stuff using you. I don't know how much a packet is now, (£5ish?) but that's a plant to me. One pack a day over a week, a nice meal, a month, one of your lessons, a year a holiday.
YOU choose when, and you will know, but only when you're ready to.

Wise words Amo. I'm still waiting to be "ready" to give up again after last years Feb to May give up then starting again! They say it's better if there are 2 of you and i agree to an extent, but when I'm "ready" OH isn't and vice versa. I've tried giving up umpteen times now over the years and each failure makes the next time harder!
Can't give up at the mo tho'. Brought loads of ciggies and baccy back from Malta...................

Well done Barbara you have done very well.Giving up smoking is like dieting and not easy. But i agree with Amo its down to will power and only you yourself in the end can do it. I think the same goes for loosing weight too. I dont smoke and never have but i love my food and that is just as bad.

thanks amo yes this is week 3, its easier this time round, although i have had a couple, because after smoking for 40 years i miss them. see i told you i was stupid, as i havent craved once for a cig just the thought of never doing it again scares me, must be my comfort blanket in life. This is why i never thought you would keep it up Barbara,so very well done i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif
