My Brug - that FB brought over recently - as a small seedling - is flourishing - I will be a bit unhappy tho if it is yellow as I want a pink one <stampfeet> Some of you may remember that the last two Brugs FB gave to me died - nothing I did honestly - well maybe forgot to bring them in during the frosty weather It is such a responsibility as he will NEVER forgive me if anything happened to this one Treats them like babies he does

My datura 'ballerina tutu' are covered in buds now, and they also smell divine! I've been back to them several times today for a sniff ;D

Can I sprinkle some feed FB rather than faff about with a watering can, measuring spoon etc I have some bonemeal

If you use a granular/powdered feed it still needs measuring and it will still need watering in

My Grandma used to sprinkle white bonemeal around her plants and her garden was bootiful - of course there has been some bad press about it and maybe it is now a different sort/type I will ONE DAY feed my plants ;D

Yellow - I have a soft spot for yellow flowers. I have a pink one too, but no flowers on that one ( it is a smaller plant)

I have 3 pink ones,all have flowers,and a yellow one with buds on,my pink ones seen to be earlier than the yellow,but i think the yellow have a stronger,and better scent

I have bought one of the supposedly "hardy" brugmansias - they have red and yellow ( or orange and yellow ) flowers and it is called centaurena or something similar. I have potted it on and will keep it in a pot in the greenhouse this winter, then I hope to plant it out next spring ( with fingers crossed). I have seen a couple which have grown into small trees but knowing my luck..........................

I bought an orange and yellow one a few years ago,dont know the name,it was beautiful for one year,masses of flowers,the next year it had 2,then it had one,and it never flowered again,it had the same treatment as my other Brugs,feed watering ect,after 2 no flowering years,i got rid i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/grin.gif

That sounds a bit steep Aurecula,i paid about £20 for 3,it was about 5yrs ago though,ordered mine from Spalding
