I've noticed they don't do brilliantly in the front bed which doesn't have very conditioned soil, they seem to get rot in their woody stalks.

I'm a bit p****d off! I have never had any failures from Haylofts, but, out of my last 2 orders I have 3 poorly/dead plants Vanilla Ice Cream, Rich Ruby and Pomegranate I e mailed them and they answered straight away, saying they would send replacements straight away.....when I could give them an order number. Now..........I had deleted all the relevant e mails and recycled the paperwork as I'd got the plants and never had any duds Sooo I e mailed them and told them this. They have just phoned me to check what/when I ordered cos they can't match up the varieties. I told them I haven't bought from anyone else, but as they can't find the correct matches, I get no replacements All, entirely my own stupid fault......hey ho P.S. it was a minion cos the bigwigs are all at Hampton Court soI suppose she had no leeway

I would try again when someone gets back from Hampton Court Auricula - I have had no trouble getting replacements or a refund in the past.
They are doing 10 penstemons for a tenner at the moment - am tempted.

It's cos she can't trace the order. One order was 10 for £10 but goodness knows what the other one was It's not worth worrying about though......que sera, sera

It's a pain isn't it - I had 2 baby pink necklaces and they both curled up their toes but a bit too late to ask for replacements

I re emailed Haylofts this morning to say I had definitely shredded te paperwork, and they said that after further investigation, they could guess what I'd ordered and they will replace 4 penstemons for me........hoorah! what a good result. I thanked them and said that I'd look forward to dealing with them again.....after such service, it'd be rude not to ;D ;D

I got my ten for a tenner plants today! They sent: Osprey, Pershore Pink Necklace - never managed to get one fo them going , Rich Ruby - haven't got that, Icecream Vanilla, Hidcote Pink - have lots but love it, Jessica Mai - don't have that, Amelia Jayne, Catherine de la Mare - don't have that, Garnet - lost that so this will make a replacement hopefully and Alice Hindley. I'm really pleased with the choice and they're good bushy little plants.

There's a paragraph on the bill/receipt now saying not to over water the plug plants as they don't like it and to allow the compost to dry out between each watering. Do you think they've read some of our posts!

If they just let them get a bit bigger you'd almost be sure they had taken off. Guess the plants and P&P would be much more.
