She should have given you an antiseptic cream PG, I think you can get anti-biotic cream as well. poor you, my brother had it years ago on his face, he was bandaged like the invisible man.

You sure it's impetigo? You've not used anything different and had a severe allergic reaction? Hair colour, shampoo, shower gel?
Don't use any soap on it, just clean warm water, and a throw away piece of kitchen towel. Ask your doc for some antibacterial cream as well as antibiotics.

It's ridiculous having to wait so long. If you go into Boots or any pharmacy really, they may be able to recommend something to relieve the itching and cool it down a bit

Feels a bit better this afternoon. I'm going to ring the doctor again tomorrow see if i can get a cancellation. If not I'm gonna call in the chemist and see if they can give me something for it. On another subject ...... What is with the stupid questions during ad breaks on quiz program's ? Just heard one "which is the smallest size of spoon" teaspoon, dessert spoon or tablespoon. For Christ sake !!!

They're money making devices: ask a stupidly obvious question and mugs will ring a premium rate number for a chance to win... something. Might just as well say "oi, peabrain, ring this expensive number and possibly be drawn out of a hat"

NHS waiting times to see a consultant dermatologist are usually several months, and in some places over a year. Most General Practitioners have a limited knowledge of specialist areas of medicine, she is perhaps working through a list

Guess who got the dates for Henry's acupuncture wrong! We had a call to say we'd missed his appointment. I thought it was today. It wasn't, it was yesterday.

No, I don't think so. Well, I hope not, anyway! We had the bill for his Physio session - £50! Even though he has insurance, we still have to pay 20%.

The fact that they even exist is pissing me off no end. I can't be doing with any of them at the moment. They should be abolished. They are no use whatsoever.
