There seems to be problems again on the Main Proboards Server. All issues were corrected after yesterdays problems but it seems that things are still not as they should be.
Everything is being sorted out and we can only wait - sorry.

Barbara are you typing the text in first, then highlighting by dragging the mouse over it, and then selecting the font and colour? The chosen font size, colour will be [] brackets at either end of your text before you post - if that makes sense! Chuckles is much better at explaining these things than me font sizeColourx Tig

Yes you can - reply to my post.
Click reply as usual.
Write anything and with your mouse run forwards or backwards over what you have just written keeping your left finger down. OK? The text will then be highlighted.
Then look at the top left and choose a colour, click on the colour and hey presto.
All the icons at the top work as long as you have a text highlighted and don't be irritated that when you click on a colour or larger text etc. that the highlight disappears.
So have a go and see what happens.

Go to Reply (It does not work in Quick Reply) Then click on the Colors box. This brings up a list of the colours. Click on the one you want. This brings on to the Reply box something like this (color=Red] I have altered this so you can see it. If you then place your Cursor in between the square brackets [] in the middle. Thus (color=Red]This is Red. Then it should be that colour.

It is exactly as OB says Barbara. Here are some screen shots so that you can see what happens. Just click on the pics to make them bigger. Write anything you want and then run your mouse over what you have written - highlighting it. the go to the Colours drop down menu and choose whichever colour you want. Just click on it. This is what it will then look like depending on the colour you have chosen. Just click Reply and it will be the colour you want. As OB says it doesn't work in Quick Reply. So have a go. RF

OK look at my screenshots that I did.
Type hello as I did.
Go over it with the mouse and highlight it - blue.
Then click on the button that looks like A and a two sided arrow going up.
Hello
Now then change the number to 4 for example...and you get this.
hello
Have another go.
