I'd say it would be worth the drive Auricula. I enjoyed last night's programme but wish it was longer. I just be getting into it and it's over. JW it'll be on iplayer I'm sure so you can catch up with it.

I enjoyed Carol Klein's gardening programme this evening although how on earth she finds space for any new plants is beyond me. Suffice to say that it looked to be 'rather full'!

I think having her own nursery business just around the corner helps, Spru. Carol Klein does no wrong for me, in fact I would say she's the most inspirational gardener since the sainted Geoff Hamilton....Praise indeed from me!

She's lost the land for her nursery business apprently. She had some sort of arrangement with her neighbours over the land its on and the new owners want it back. Can't imagine wanting to upset Carol Klein if she turnd out to be my neighbour! ;D

I've enjoyed the entire series, and made notes which means I have learnt something new whilst watching I think her enthusiasm is contagious, and I am also an evil snail & slug drowner Shame about the land for her nursery though, I hadn't heard that Jas x Tig

I didn't know Carol had lost/or is losing her nursery...I'm sure she will soon re-establish somewhere else.
She made my day recently, when she thanked me personally during a Q&A session on her BBC blog, saying "thank you David for all your encouraging comments over the last few years".
I didn't even know she had ever heard of me!

March, I think. He will present the programme from his own garden, which he has spent 20 years developing and which spans around two acres of Herefordshire countryside.

Personally I don't think it matters who is is presenting the show - each person has their favourites...I would just be happy if I could get the UK gardening programmes....

I was beginning to doubt myself but found the Carol Klein 'news' in February's Gardens Illustrated... 'For many years I have run my nursery (the practical, growing part of it) from a small parcel of land rented from my next-dorr-neighbour. New people moved in and after a lament about their cutting down trees I received my marching orders - I have to be out by the end of August.'

Alan Titchmarch is getting a gardening series on ITV soon. Hi everyone. I see from the gardening press and www.thehorticulturalchannel.tv that Alan Titchmarsh is back on the box, perhaps starting 06 March, at the same time as GW. There is also www.thegardenchannel.tv which has handy hints from a well-known NW garden (if you search about a bit) Yakkers

There is some talk of European countries being able to get on I-player - bet we have to pay though. RF
