Some was interesting as you say, but ''daft laughing'' throughout got on my nerves, I will watch them, but please stop it, there are only 3 so not an age of waste if it doesn't impress.

I thought the programme was too bitty, I'd have liked to have seen a lot more of the 3 peoples gardens and yes, the laughing was annoying to me as well.

It was OK is my verdict, too much laughing at nothing, not really enough of the gardens she visited were shown, and is Miranda really that thick?.

A bit forced and contrived, but it was ok and made a change. I would like to have seen more of the gardens and less of the chatting ( mindless chortling!! )

In summary, it was better viewing than those awful make over programmes and did share some lovely 'real' gardens.

Don't forget folks, we can all vote on which pic should be on the cover of the 2018 Gardeners World Magazine Calendar gwmag.typeform.com/to/d64vIk. Shame you won't be able to see your programmes this morning Rosefriend, I wonder when GW stops, I know next week is the last Beechgrove.

Shame you won't be able to see your programmes this morning Rosefriend, I wonder when GW stops, I know next week is the last Beechgrove. Had a bit of a chuckle to myself actually Ladygardener, as on FirstOneTV you can see how many people are watching the channel you chose and there were more and more and I couldn't understand why so many people would want to watch a black screen which was all I was seeing... It suddenly dawned on me that Firefox has had an update this week, so I went to another browser and I am now watching Monty.... Hope others realise as I saw the numbers drop...

Not much went on Ladygardener, he has lost a GH so a new project is in the offing, and he was going on about stopping using plastic in the potting shed, he sowed some seeds too.

It was only 30 minutes and Barbara has summarised it very well Where his old greenhouse was he is going to create a 'paradise garden' inspired by his winter programme of Eastern gardens. Adam Frost did a 'makeover' of a ladies small shady walled garden, which was a throwback to 'ground force' days, and they didn't mention any costs, which I thought was a bit rubbish for anyone wanting to do the same thing. They showed a piece filmed last year of a couples Wolverhampton garden where the husband had added various follies and buildings to create 'rooms'. I've seen that garden before though, not sure if it was on GW or another gardening programme. Nigel and Nell didn't seem to mind the snow, and were lovely as always

Well, I enjoyed it being back....do like Adam Frost so enjoyed that - I agree about not saying how much that make-over cost though...
Interested to hear about his ideas regarding plastic - we all need to cut back but it is easier said than done methinks...
Nigel really has gone grey around his muzzle hasn't he - reminds me of me now hahahahaha - Nell has calmed down a tad as well...
I enjoy my Sunday mornings and I am also looking forward to Beechgrove being back...

I didn’t expect much the weather being as it is, but I’m glad it is back I watch his dogs as much as Monty. I think the garden centres should cut back on plastic pots, im sure everyone that buys plants throws the cheap nasty pots straight into the bin ! Cardboard would be better.

Thanks everyone, you've all summed it up very well. Auricula, I agree with you about the numerous presenters and thought the whole spread in GW magazine was a bit much. Ok for newbies 'tho...... maybe. I still have'nt caught up but hopefully Jenny's sky will have it on catch up. She's not gotten round to ticking everything she used to have with the old box on a series link. I will have it recorded at home 'tho.

I liked the Yorkshire garden, wasn't that keen on the South African one though. I have bred some of my own yellow hellebores, have you seen Ashwoods prices Barbara What was Carol wearing!!! I thought the colour didn't suit her and it looked to be made out of really thick material which didn't suit her frame very well.

Thanks Barbara, I recorded it and will watch it this morning. I'm catching up with GQT at the moment. They were chatting about the lily beetle and I thought of you Tig. I was surprised that Christine said to put up yellow sticky paper in beside the lilies!!! not very wildlife friendly was it.

After suffering those beetles no one ends up wildlife friendly LG. I wonder if it will work for asparagus beetles too....

The thing is Dutchy, everything that passes it sticks to it. I'm battling greenfly at the moment but can't spray because I've seen some Ladybirds working hard. I see what you all mean about Carole, It would maybe have looked better without the jacket and a light scarf or something... the sleeves were way too long. I liked both the Yorkshire and South African gardens but was'nt taken by the strange one with the steam in the middle of it!!
