Me too Barbara and I usually wait until the flowers are coming to an end before cutting it to make the fertiliser, they do soon grow again and I like them as well as the bees.  I have it growing behind the bench at the plot and I love sitting there listening to the buzz of the bees while having a cuppa. |

There's a new series with Diarmuid Gavin started this week on BBC 1 called Gardening at home together. I think We watched it on RTE and it's very good, worth watching.

GW was in Alton towers last night, the gardens are very nice but are very expensive to get into, I paid £35.oo when I went a couple of years ago, the crocosmia in SA was amazing

Just finished watching Gardener's World and once again started wondering if Monty is finishing and Adam will be taking over? Perhaps they are bringing Adam in every couple of times to start with?? Dunno - I actually do like Monty now after years of him annoying me but Adam's way is very good....I like him a lot

Gardener's World is still dealing with lock down restrictions. Maybe it is their way of keeping things interesting . Still loads of repeats and I suppose not much new stuff in the making. I also like Adam. I just wish they would not pause so long after a seperate item to start talking again. If I want contemplation I find it elsewhere. Mumble mumble ah well probably just me being grumpy about things...  |

We missed beechgrove this week as for some reason or another it did'nt record. Watched GW 'tho and yes, lots of repeats and we just ff through those we're not interested in. I love Adam presenting, much rather have him than Monty.

I was feeling a bit off this morning so have been taking it easy. Listened to a podcast about gardening that Jenny found for me. Does anyone here listen to gardening podcasts? We do anyhow listen to GQT and another radio programme on a saturday morning.

Thanks Barbara, we're able to watch my5 so I'm currently watching the 1st series. I do like Carol Klien, she's lovely in real life too as we found out the year before last, she's really easy to talk to. |

Channel 5 have a new 4 part show starting thursday 13th at 20.00hrs. From the royal botanical gardens at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst. Each show is 1hour long.

I watched it tonight Barbara, loved the balcony gardens and the different flowers because of the time of year! Wish I was going but the only tickets left are for next Sunday and cost £85!!!  |
