For the first time I have made a note of where I have planted named varieties this year, so I hope to at least be able to name a few varieties later on. I was looking for one that Chuckles named last year and can't find it - so thought a dedicated thread would be good as a reference tool Here are my first two of this year. Both oldies, neither of which I have a clue about Look forward to seeing everyone elses x Tig

Those are just lovely Tig and OB. As we've all so many to come it's good that you've started this thread. Mine have been in bud for quite a while and are starting to get a bit of colour. :)I'll try to get out for a pic later.

Didn't know where to put these so hope you don't me adding them to your thread Tig. I don't know the names of any of these tulips (they were a Mother's Day present) but I think the colours are just lovely together. I am going to plant up a pot like this in the autumn.

They are tulips so they fit perfick on here Jas Lovely colourful prezzie for Mothers day, I got carnations and chrysanths .. I reckon a couple of my borders with have a somewhat 'rainbow' effect of tulips - I had a couple of bags of mixed coloured ones ;D x Tig

But those rainbow colours often work really well together - who'd have thought to put purple, red and rhubarb and custard colour together!

Thank you Roan. I also love tulips for the way they just do their own thing. However neatly they are put in water each flower just moves off in its own direction!

Jasmine those are just lovely, what thoughtful boys you have. :smile:Those colours all work so well together. All my tulips are in pots and I've planted up a big tub of tulips mixed colours and can't wait to see them open.

LG you really have some beauts there! My tall ones are starting to open now .. here is the bottom middle bed .. And these are opening in the bottom right bed ... I do have the names of them - somewhere x Tig

These are some of the dwarf tulips which have come out now that the sunshine has made an apperance. 15 for £4.99 in B&Q if I remember rightly. I hope you like them. Tullip Tardia tulip turkestanica anyone know what this one is?
