Thanks for the noms. I can't believe it survived all that cold last winter! It is somewhat protected by a heather growing one side and a papaver on the other - I've never had one come up again, and had decided to stop wasting money on them! They are not that cheap to buy to only last one season x Tig

Mine survived in a pot outside for 3 years but then it got straggly and I got fed up with it......so it went to the great compost heap in the sky

I'm not sure if my choccie cosmos in the front border has survived or not, I left it in again. Got one growing in a pot and it had a flower bud on it last week, but s & s got in the growhouse and munched the bud off!!! Thankfully it has more coming so we are on for some piccies later All my nectarothingies are flowering, love the candelabra effect - great photo Jilly Tig

It's got smashing leaves on it too, tones in well with the little mole. ;)The flower bits look a bit like a Pennisetum but the leaves don't.

Wonder if you can save seed from it Pam? I reckon rudbeckia are some of the easiest seeds to germinate, especially for folk with a greenhouse, living in Cornwall Tig

I bought these ages ago and forgot where I'd put them (they were a rescue from Wyevales) - unlike me I didn't put them in my 'plants' book so it took a while to find the packet with the name Iris Hollandica Eye of the Tiger (not yet fully open so expect an update ;D) x Tig
