You wouldn't want to grow this one RF! It is the wild form aka Datura Stramonium or Jimson Weed ... not growing in my garden I might add x Tig

Once the flowers are over the seedheads on the clems are almost of nice as the flowers and then we get more 'balls of fluff' ;D Pulsatillas are quite attractive too, they vary dependent on the flower colour it seems ... This was a lilac coloured flower and this was a white one Tig

I love the seed heads of Clems Tig, they are quite tactile. Spotted this white verbena from one of my hanging baskets poking through the seed heads of my Lagoon Clematis.

How very colourful Rf, the Euonymus really stands out does'nt it. Do you have birds visiting your garden at this time of year?

The Blackbirds, Tits and Magpies love the Kousa and the Euonymus. The only birds that I have seen eat the Sinocalycanthus are the Jackdaws and Pigeons...probably only birds that are big enough - the seeds are enormous.

Not exactly seed heads but close.... I find the old flower stalks of cyclamen hederifolium amazing when they curl up like spirals to bring the seed head down to the soil... You can just see one on the left hand side of the pic just under half way down. Nature is amazing

That's a lovely display there Jasmine, the leaves are great too are'nt they. I see your little seed stalk twirls, have they spread much for you?

The leaves look quite reptilian I think LG. I can't believe how much the plants have grown just in the past 2 weeks, it's murky, damp, grey and miserable and the temps are dropping and they're flourishing! I saw some corms at the GC the other day, they were the size of saucers!

I managed to keep a couple of mine from last year going but no sign of flowers from them. I bought some new ones as I could'nt be without them over the autumn winter.
