We got a bit of a stuffing in the T20 cricket didn't we.
Never mind, at least my NFL team - Cincinnati Bengals - beat their big local and divisional rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers this evening. We've now beaten them home and away this season (first time we've done that since 1998) and we're now at the top of our division with a great chance of making the play-offs. Fingers crossed we can keep our main players fit and healthy for the rest of the season and the play-offs if we get there.

Devastated to find out that Chris Henry, wide receiver of my favourite American Football team the Cincinnati Bengals, has died aged 26, following a "domestic incident" yesterday. He was apparently on the back of a truck being driven by his fiancee when he was thrown off and sustained severe injuries, from which he later died in hospital.
He was somewhat "troubled" in his off-field life in that he'd had numerous incidents where he'd been arrested, banned from the NFL etc but he was the father of 3 young children with his fiancee and had worked hard this season to turn his life around. Such a sad turn of events that just as he was getting his life back on track and playing well, his life was cut short at such a tragically young age.

I wouldn't call him my "mate" Barbara. I like to see the best drivers and he is (was) definitely one of the best there has ever been. I only hope he doesn't come back to the sport uncompetitive due to his break and spoil the memories.
Can't wait to see Schumi racing against Button, Hamilton, Alonso etc.

PS - Should've added that I'd be quite happy to see Lewis & Jensen kick Schumi's arse all season long ;D

I have to say, I don't like Andy Murray, and I don't know why must be his miserable face, but, I wish him all the best in his match against Federer this weekend.

Sorry to repost the same photo from last summer but now that Michael Schumacher has the nod from his doctor and has already eclipsed his team mate in pre-season practice times it looks very much as though we will be seeing quite a lot of this manoeuvre later this year.... i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/wink.gif Definitely an F1 season to look forward to and I think a certain J. Button esquire will need to raise his game if he is to have any chance of retaining his title.

The Ferrari's already look quite quick but it's early days. I'm looking forward to this season but the new points system will take a bit of getting used to !

I'm guessing no-one else will be watching the Superbowl on Sunday ? I doubt I'll stay up to watch it live (I would if the Bengals were in it !) but I'll watch the 2 hour highlights show on Monday evening.
I'd love to see the Saints win it but I have a feeling the Colts will be too strong. Could be a good game though, with 2 of the NFL's best offensive teams on show.

I probably won't watch ( used to when my boys were young as they were avid fans) but always follow it. I think the Colts are favourites, but, like you, I'd love the Saints to do it!!

Looking forward to the new F1 season which kicks off in Bahrain on Sunday. I think it could be the most interesting season for a while, especially with the return of Schumi to spice it up.

If F1 carries on like that no-one will be watching anymore. I agree. It was a bit of a yawn-fest wasn't it. In a bid to make the sport more equal, they have actually made it duller ! FA x
