I didn't have a bet this year. I usually pick 1 or 2 but didn't get round to it this time. At least none of the horses died this time.

It was a pity that Lee Westwood couldn't quite make it in the US Masters golf yesterday but all the same I think Phil Mickelson was a deserved winner.

Mickelson was inspired. When he hit the shot between the trees, from 225 yards to within 3 ft of the flag, I was just astounded. As someone who plays golf, I know just what an astonishing shot that was. He deserved to win it. Shame about Westwood but I still think he has a major in him so his day will come.

the man sat next to me at the match on Sunday had an accumilitor (sp) bet at the bookies of
Drogba to score first at Wembly,
Dont push it in the national. and Tevez to score first for City.
I think he's probably a millionaire by now. ;D

Shame about Lewis but not the most exciting race I've ever seen.
Probably won't watch Monaco next week either. I think it's the worst GP of the year.

Well done Lewis and Jenson, that was one of the better races really. Well done Lee Westwood at the golf, we're on a roll at the moment. Justin last week now you. might bode well for the masters and the Ryder cup. We have 4 ladies about to row a boat right round the country to set a new record, rather them than me so good luck to them.

Ten hours for a game of tennis and its not over yet 59--59- is the score and they're coming back today to try to finish it.
I've never seen anyone so tired, the American was falling over at the end, I was exhausted just watching it.!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say that even as a dedicated non-tennis fan I was still fascinated by the Isner/Mahut epic last night and watched it from 7pm to when they came off the court.
I see that they are the third match out on Court 18 today but it still doesn't leave much recovery time and as Auricula says whoever wins will be too exhausted to perform well in the next round.

It's amazing how they're so evenly matched. It's a shame that one of them has to lose

It was indeed an excellent match, the power of those serves and the number of aces were incredible. I did feel sorry for Mahut but it was lovely that they both got presented when the match was over. Rafa had a tough enough match today too but Federer had a tough one yesterday, it's been a good wimbleton so far. I don't watch the ladies tennis at all.

I'd love to see a British winner of the British GP tomorrow. And won't it be nice that we have 3 Englishmen making an appearance in the World Cup Final. I suspect that could the only English team in the football World Cup final for many many years FA x

There might be discord in Red Bull's camp after the weekend's events Maybe, but not for long I suspect. When Webber realises he's getting huge sums of money to drive the fastest car on the grid, I suspect he will calm down a bit ;D FA x
