Morning, Rosefriend, I've moved onto firefox, and they seem to be working on here.  Well, I got one just now, anyway! My new problem is that the type face is minute and I can't see how to make it bigger! I can hardy read it.  Thanks for all your efforts to sort it out.  |

OK - I have asked elsewhere and will ask here - what were you using instead of Firefox...?? To make the type face larger press Control and + , makes it as large as you want, Control and - reduces.. |

I got the blue bear just now, hopefully it was just a blip. There is an issue Ladygardener,- slowness, double posting, search problems etc... Proboards are doing some maintenance on a couple of servers - no wonder that the bear is about!! |

Entirely up to you but I prefer FF for all forums - infact I only use IE as a last resort as there have been issues with IE and Chrome uses several times... Control and + must work - control first and then + holding control down. Pleased that things are better anyway. |

I changed to ff years ago and agree that IE is one of the slowest as well as having more problems. It's easy to add GWD to your favourites on ff Geranium. |

Geranium,You can Import all your Favourites from IE to FF. Go to Help on FF. Click on the box Download Install and Migration. On the following screen Click on Copy your personal information from one Browser to another. That brings up a very easy to follow set of instructions.

Well, I had a look, but as FF has no toolbars and has a warning notice at the top telling me that 'the plug in is vulnerable' I shall leave well alone and just shrink it for use when I'm on GWD.  |

Well Geranium, you have totally and utterly confused me... No Toolbar, - mmmh , yes there is, there are just two ways to use it...can't remember now what you have to click to bring the toolbar in - Plugin - what Plugin....not sure where you have landed actually as getting your Favourites to Bookmarks has nothing to do with a Plugin...also - what on earth are you going to "shrink"?? Perhaps someone else on an UK PC can talk you through things...?? I am only just awake so will have a think in a little while.. |

I obviously haven't used the right terminology, Rosefriend, what I mean is to 'park' GWD down at the bottom of my screen where I have IE and various other symbols including the switch-off button, by using the little 'minus' sign at the top r-hand corner of my screen. The plug in is something to do with 'Adobe Flash' which they would like me to activate...no chance! |

Is there a grey/blue line at the very top of the screen when you are in here Geranium,? It usually has the words Gremilins at Work|Garden... on the left hand side of the line. If so place your mouse arrow in it somewhere say slightly to the left of the Minus sign you use to minimise this site and right click. Then scroll to Menu Bar and left click. That should put a line of stuff at the top of the page. |
