Can anyone give me a clue what type of geranium this could be? It has dark blobs on the leaves ... x Tig

That'll be nice then, I love the fact it got its name from Spotty Muldoon ;D
Just watch it have pink flowers rather than the nice deep purpley ones!!!!
Thanks G

It's very exciting this growing from seed lark, never know what might pop up - I have four Jilly, two more have yet to flower, so we'll wait with baited breath, but I'm not holding it ;D They are very pretty Mrs Kendall Somethingorothers x Tig

I can't remember which ones of mine are Jilly's Mrs Kendalls - I'm looking forward to them flowering now! The Bill Wallis that I grew from seed last year are just starting to flower - they are great - just covered in smallish lilac flowers and the plants have red stems.

Yes my Bill Wallis that I grew from seed last year are flowering too and I'm very pleased with them. Many thanks again for the seed. I'm pretty sure that the Lemon Aquilegia are going to be lemon as they're in bud and quite pale, my Kristall is coming into flower too and looks wonderful. Many thanks to Jasmine and Jilly for the seeds. ;D

Is your Kristall a bit limey green tinged LG - mine is just coming out but it isn't white at the moment. Not like Persil white!

It's fully out this morning and if anything it's got a lemon tinge to it Jasmine. I wonder if I've mixed up the labels, it's taken 2 years to get to this so it is possible. :-/I'll compare it with the Lemon one when it blooms.

Bill Wallis flowers are quite small but the plant should end up smoothered in flowers!

I'm confused with my Geranium and my Aquilegia this year Jilly so that makes two of us. ;D Hopefully I should get some seeds, there are plenty of bees buzzing around them anyhow. It does have tons of flowers Jasmine and they're tiny so I'm sure it's Bill Wallis. I love the red stems too and thanks again for the seeds.

You're very welcome LG - I nearly pulled all my Bill W's out - I thought they were Mrs Kendall gone wrong then I remembered buying the seed!

What geranium is it if it does that? I think a surprise bonus is just great. Now watch it turn into a buttercup. I've been nurturing what I thought was a geranium in the garden and it then had a yellow flower

What geranium is it if it does that? I think Tig identified it as a Geranium nodosum, I got it at the horticultural society plant sale, it's lovely but good grief does it spread if it's happy. I'm off to the same plant sale next weekend, it's like a secret that all the local gardeners share. It opens at 10am & you have to there by about 9.30. Last year they let us in at 10am & a half hour later they had nothing left i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/grin.gif It's great because everything is only about £1 & there's not time to hesitate, you just have to grab things & sort it out afterwards. Is that the Hove seed/plant sale Jilly?
I've just been googling geranium nodosum and it mentions glossy leaves and that's how I would have described the leaves before I did my googling - glossy not felty!

Surgery complete! The geranium is now in a pot - will just have to wait and see what flowers it has to go with its glossy leaves!

The geranium Jillii are plain leaved, so they didn't inherit the 'spots' just a nicely veined lilac flower. The leaves look perfick for Splish Splash Jilly, I'd be very surprised if you'd lost it as they seem to be tough as old boots! At least it will be 'true' as it was a root cutting not norty seeds ;D
