The new rates for small parcels is quite good if you have a reasonable sized thing to post but I ended up paying the same amount as Jenny for a recent parcel and mine was tiny compared to hers. I guess it's swings and roundabouts.

That's fine Jasmine, as you say I won't have time to read it now (it always gets manic at this time of year, I seem to spend most of my time watering) I'm going to end up sending you a bundle of GW & GA I think. I shouldn't think Auricula will be too bothered, think she might be too busy with grandchildren for the foreseeable future  |

The magazines are getting as bad as the shops ( saw "back to school" clothing this morning ) the August mags are all about autumn and planning for next spring  It's July for goodness sake!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

GI has a big focus on dahlias this month! There's some gorgeous ones in the articles. Interestingly SR listed her 3 most favourite and she doesn't sell any of them!

Jenny and I were laughing at her autumn catalogue, so many things are her favourites or bulbs she would'nt be without. She sucked us in alright.  |

I had to chuckle - she lists Waltzing Matilda as one of her favourites and she hasn't sold that for several years since the only stockists of the tubers had a weed killer accident!

I remember you saying about that, perhaps someone has somehow saved seeds and sent them to her and she has grown more Jasmine....... It is beautiful is'nt it. I think Jilly and maybe Tig have it too. |

I have cancelled AG - I was finding so much repeated info, and I had a pile of them unread...so I'm sticking with my two monthly ones on subscription and the RHS one.
