I got mine today too, I had to google to see what was so special about Gro-sure. They're colour coated so they can be seen better, some have a fungiside on them. Here is something to read about them. www.gro-sure.co.uk/gro-sure/ I'm looking forward to reading the mag this month. ;D

I did'nt realise the magazine was different either. I wonder will they send out a range of the Gro-sure vegetables and ask us how they perform.

It's always a bit different, and often ( as this month) very different. They say it is to make sure the subscribers get value for their loyalty. Bit late with their sweet peas I thought, but I'm sure I'll find a spot

I thought the same thing but I'll most likely keep them until October and sow them for next year.

You could send them to me. It is still very much in time for this season here. I wouldn't have to wait until next season, to be sure. ;D

Has anyone else got their RHS The Garden? The article on wisteria was interesting. I didn't realise wisteria could be trained to grow like a tree.

When I subscribed to GW and I'm going back at least 10 years,it always had extra bit and special offers come with it for subscribers. I packed up my RHS membership so don't get thier mag anymore

Do you miss it Chuckles? I think it comes every month - I lose track - and at £4 something or other it is quite a bit of the membership...and it's different to GW and so on. I like it.

Yes and no Jasmine. I'm a bit of a flick through mags sort of person and its finding the time to sit and read tbo. I've got a stack that I haven't even opened, still in the poly wrapping What I have started doing though is taking a few up the garden and when I stop for a T break I have a little browse.

Ooh aren't you good Chuckles I rip mine open as soon as they arrive ;D I have one weekly and 3 monthly ones delivered on subscription and am thinking of adding a 4th!! I like the RHS one as it's a bit different, and I feel I'm getting my moeneysworth from the subscription as I can't get to many RHS events

I rip mine open too - I always read before I go to sleep - unless I fall asleep and wake up with the mag over my face! ;D Wisteria grown from seed can take up 20 years to flower - grown on rootstock 3 -5 years I read last night

They're gorgeous when they get going - I just find is so disappointing when they flop for no apparent reason.
