I bought a little blue (I think) hyacinth on Friday for 79 Cent - went to the GC across the road and they were 1.99 Euro for one the same size!!

Bargain RF...I love hyacinths but the 2 that I planted for Christmas time didnt come up..when I emptied the pot the bulbs were all soft.

What a shame MRH.
It's the ones in plastic pots LG - they had some in baskets and ceramic holders and they weren't a special price. I resisted temptation!

Thanks for the nom LG. Those snowdrops are in a raised bed, just to the left is a flight of stone steps. The bed is actually as high as the top of my legs so is the best place in the garden for working and piccie taking. (No sheet and lying on the ground needed this time ;D!)
