My Rosa banksiae is out. Not affected by the winter, thank goodness.
The Solanum crispum is starting to flower, too - I've had to prune out some dead wood, but it's fine on the whole.
Alliums are bursting open - much earlier than last year!
Cistus 'Silverpink' has had its first flowers, too.
Do you know this pretty thug? It's Centaurea hypoleuca 'John Coutts' and it spreads and spreads - it's definitely an invasive plant. I inherited it, and spend ages every year trying to keep it under control.
This one is much better behaved. It's Centaurea 'Amethyst in Snow'.
And the glory of the garden it shall never pass away!
