It's going to be a 'weed' isn't it? I've spent ages looking for something similar and found nothing with those pink bits.

I will leave it in the pot and see if it flowers, that should give us a better idea! Whatever it is it is new to my garden.

Seem to have a lot of this growing in my garden this year...don't know if it's something that I planted at some point or a weed..... Looks to me like Lysimachia punctata (Yellow Loosestrife) and although a perennial I personally would call it a weed as it is hard to get rid of once you have it. Really vibrant but in a small garden it can be hard to control...bit like Solidago (Goldenrod)..

Hmmm, well my mystery plant isn't new to my garden at all, turned out to be a delphinium nudicaule! Although it has very fleshy leaves compared to its 'Mum'!

Gosh it does'nt look anything like what you'd expect a Delphinium to look like Tig. Very unusual indeed.

Does anyone know what sort of lavender this is.... I'm fairly sure it's a form of Lavender Dentata Jasmine. I like it, it's unusual is'nt it.

Thank you Ladygardener, I will look that up. The leaves are soft and aromatic. Didn't see any 'normal' lavenders.

Would anyone have any idea what this might be? It looks familiar but could be a weed seedling. The petals around the soil don't belong to it as it has'nt flowered.

Why oh why did I buy so many plants, anyway in a pot they go and see what comes up as I always recognise leaves, it's bulbs I'm having trouble with.

Hopefully Missredhead, they mustn't be hardy or I wouldn't have wrapped them up and put them away.

First thing that sprung to mind was polianthes tuberosa Barbara. They don't look flat enough for calla lilies, or anything else I regonise.

Well I certainly didn't buy anything called that Tig, potted up and watered, waiting for them to show a leaf, the suspense is killing me.
