No it's not Geranium - I actually lost 2 last winter...I only have Parkallee left. I did hope that a bit would grow again but the last two winters were so very hard...
I actually don't really know what it is (except some kind of Hollyhock) but it is only a metre high in a pot - the flower is rather nice though - shall I try and get some seed for you - if it gets seeds??

Your pics remind me, the other night I had a HUGE spider on a web from one side of my front door to the other. I could'nt get out because I was afraid if I tried to move it, it would jump into the house and run away and terrorise me all night. I yelled for a neighbour to come and rescue me which she did, brush in hand. She managed to get it onto the brush and shook it onto the path where it went on it's merry way. There are loads of them around at the moment are'nt there.

Too many LG...I had to use the broom to get to the bottom of the garden the other day..they were all across the pathway face high...
