We already have a bee thread, but I thought we should have a thread for the other insects that we see in our gardens too. Hoverflies are lovely We leave a bowl of water out in the garden for the cat....and we've had wasps visiting every day... Ladybirds... what about you?

Think most grasshoppers only live about a year - so perhaps it is quite an 'ancient' one anyway. I've read they can 'shed' a leg to escape a predator, better to hop it than be somethings lunch Lovely piccies Cheery More hover flies taken today x Tig

It's a Candy Stripe Spider LG (enoplognatha ovata) This echinops had a ladybird in the middle with hoverflies landing on all sided Loads of these metallic green flies around today as well x Tig
