That looks beautiful Tig.
The Fayre was sooo busy - just got home and had a cup of tea and a mince pie. The helpers on the stalls didn't get offered one cup of tea and some folk were there for 6 hours.

thats bad Jas.......did you buy anything? I thought it was a bit bad - the least you could do if you're organising something is offer the helpers a drink. Anyway, it's done now! I bought a few books - we made about £300 on books, dvds and cds!

Your cake looks great Tig, well done. With the sants around the sides as well, everyone should get some. I bought one in M&S today for my neighbour as a pressie, they had some for everyone to taste and it was yummy. Jasmine, that's really poor of them not to offer a hot drink at the very least. Well done with the selling 'tho that's a good amount of money. Hope you can relax and watch Strictly with your feet up later.

;D I don't think that'll happen to mine Jilly, I used fondant icing and then stuck the snowmen and santas on with some ordinary icing. I thought it'd be fair LG, everyone gets a 'head' and it'll stop Mr Tig cutting extraordinarily large slices - they never get left in this house, OH is a proper fruitcake nut That's a long time to help out without a drink Jas, but at least folk didn't have to desert their stalls going off to the loo x Tig

That's a point I suppose Tig! Keep your helpers at their stalls! I'm very late getting up this morning but after my shower I am going to put some carols on and finish my cards.

Good idea Jasmine. I think a lot of folk are doing their Christmas shopping this weekend. The shops were very busy indeed this afternoon.

I'm not one for crowds either, but it started tippling down this aft so I ventured forth, and it had put a few folk off. I managed to get another pair of the £5 boots for my daughter and also a pair for my DiL - some stocking fillers for the Grandkids and some groceries from Sainsburys. I needn't go out again until Friday, and then next Sunday I've promised my Grand-daughter a birthday shopping outing I need a cuppa and some cake, I'm boiling now I've come indoors! x Tig

I'm only a 10 minutes drive from town and parking is free on a Sunday, and even at this time of year there are plenty of spaces. Saturday is a no-no these days, everywhere heaves with people and the queues at the tills are ridiculous!

I wrapped the last of the pressies that I had today..still have more to buy though and have been on-line ordering DVD's for my son. I got a card yesterday from an old school friend saying that she had moved..luckily enough she is having her post forwarded so I dont have to send another card.
