Thanks Jilly. Some of mine out in the garden have been munched almost away Tig - not sure if it's S+S, mice or rabbits although the rabbit population is much depleted

Probably is S&S Jasmine, some of mine have been munched too & I haven't got bunnies.

I have caught mice eating them in the past Jilly - they tend to leave the flower though just lying on the ground But I think you're right about the S+S as they've been munched right down. I am keen to share bunnies with anyone who feels left out ;D

A little bit of Spanish spring... Almond blossom. They have fields of almond trees and I think the blossom is so pretty with it's maroon splotch in the middle - smells great too!

Not got much to offer I am afraid... RF What you do have are simply lovely. I especially like the brightness and freshness of this yellow against the mulch of the leaves.

Thanks for the noms ladies...that Pansy is lovely Maggy and gets a from me.. Yes we have loads of sparrows Jas and they don't tend to eat my yellow crocuses - having said that I used to have a few clumps and that was the only yellow one in the garden when I took that pic.... Although I fed my bulbs last year, most of my tulips are coming up blind, even the botanical ones for some reason.. RF

Thanksfor the nom; rosef; I cant see any of my tulips at all but I heard MontyD saying that unless you plant them deep you will be treating them as annuals, I remember thinking Ive never heard that before.

I would say don't give up ladies. I only have one lot of species tulips (do you remember me asking about your bronze charm tulips RF and you went and dug out the label so you could tell me the name), they're the only ones I have and they're only just breaking the soil surface in a shallow terracotta bowl....so there is hope yet I would say.

Well after my escapade with the tom seeds today (G-chat) and having seen that nearly all my tulips seem to be coming up blind...loads of things are dead in the garden from the terrible cold. I just wonder why we are all gardeners...
....butI still get that prickle in my tum when I see the first spring flowers though....we really are a race alone!!
