Most of the rest of my daffs are just breaking the surface like yours Carolann. I love the sight of the first daffodil but I don't want them to be over too early as well.

I can't believe it - I have never had things so early - bet I lose them if we really sink down in temps or perhaps a warming snow blanket may save them...

I noticed my little irises are out but you have to kneel down to see them as they're so dark and they blend in with the soil

My Chimonanthes is in full flower at least 4 weeks earlier than last year - the scent is wonderful I have 2 crocuses and an Iris reticulata in flower,too

I'm not sure if this is a spring flower, or a very late autumn one... My Cistus 'Silverpink' is flowering happily! I found Leucojum aestivum in flower this afternoon. My Hellebores aren't quite as open as RF's lovelies - but almost.
