That's a real shame Jasmine, anything you can do in the meantime to protect it.

It should do well in a container Jasmine, fingers crossed they won't get at it there.

Only rabbit I've ever seen in the front garden is the neighbours Houdini rabbit but he seems to have had one escape too many and has disappeared. A shotgun has crossed my mind - I'm training up 2 enthusiastic border collies at the moment!

Thanks ladies It is a bit like that Jilly, I say, 'Bun-buns' and they scrabble out of the door. They need to develop a more softly, softly approach if they are going to get anywhere ;D I can see a slightly lop-sided season!

Looks like they stand up to the rain a lot better than some Roses though Auricula. Here's mine. Jillyx

That's so beautiful Jilly...and unchewed by bunnies. It looks so glossy and healthy. Is it in a pot?

Yes it is Jasmine, it will need a move up to a bigger one next year though I think.

Just nip the rest of the heads off Auricula & there'll be other flowers along later. I've got some sad wind burned buds that I might have to do that to later.

Jillyx Well I never - I have never ever done that in all my gardening life...wind/sun burnt my buds always open....unless something has chewed them which is certainly the case this year.... RF

RF Might not have worded that as well as I could i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/embarassed.gif I meant if the petals have blown off, nip of the rest of that flower head. I do have to nip buds off sometimes though RF, if the winds here are particularly strong they can be quite salty, which burns things beyond saving. Jillyx
