Oh I understand what you mean now Jilly...I had visions of you walking around nipping rose buds off willynilly....
Yes you are far closer to the sea than I am - salt isn't a great help in the garden...

They're just lovely. Mine are doing well and so far, standing up well to the heavy rain and winds. My 2nd plant is starting to flower now too, weeks behind the 1st one. It just shows that situation does make a big difference. I'm happy with where they are 'tho.

Just managed to get mine before it started to rain too much and also before AF turns a little blousy.. then decided to bring it in and put it in my glubblug stuff as OH was testing the lights after we had decorated the Lounge... Here - a romantic AF.. RF

Lovely Rf. That's horrible Ambre. One of the bl...y pigeons broke off the main bud on my 2nd Angelface. I was raging. The stem was broken off near the flower itself and I now have it in a tiny tiny glass.

My Angelface is continuing to thrive, but so are the weeds. I took a pic this afternoon between the showers.

Looking good MRH, the leaves are staying very healthy. In my garden my David Austen Rose Grace is showing a bit of black spot as is the climbing rose but AF is staying clear so far.

Your AF is doing so well Missy. I have one flower on my poor rabbit chewed rose but its leaves are growing back too so it looks a lot better than it did.

You are not alone Geranium, mine has just got the first signs of buds coming, but it has lovely healthy foliage, no sign of blackspot and no aphids Having seen everyones lovely flowers I'm hoping mine will bloom when the weather is dry and won't go mouldy like most of my other roses have x Tig
