Forgot about Buzzcocks New series starts this week ;D Never seen it. What's it about? It's a "comedy music quiz". It seems to me that the whole point of the show is to slag people off and take the p*ss out of them. I do occasionally find it mildly amusing but only when Bill Bailey (comedy genius IMHO) starts going off at ridiculous tangents ! FA x

Forgot about Buzzcocks New series starts this week ;D Never seen it. What's it about? It's not your cup of tea at all DrBill. Basically a bunch of has-been or wannabe pop-stars go on an effort of a quiz to answer daft questions. The two team captains are Bill Bailey (who's brilliant) and Phil Jupitus who between them often insult their "guests". I find the new chap boring and desperate to be like Mark Lamar. Just in case you want to know more, here's the Wikipedia entry about Buzzcocks: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Never_mind_the_buzzcocks

Ditto. I thought Marc Lamar's humour made the show. Me too. The new host's sole aim seems to be to insult the guests. Where's the entertainment in that? I love to see an overgrown ego taken down a peg or two - I know they haven't all got big egos - but most of them have - and Marc used to do quite a good job of knocking the 'guests' egos as well!!! Simon Marc Amstell is new to it - and it must be a challenge to sit in someone elses seat on this type of show - the boring bit for me is the 'guess the former 'celeb' identity parade' - I probably like the prog because I like the humour of Phil Jupitus and Bill Bailey x Tig

Well I want to comment about Top Gear last night - we just loved that race across London. We wanted the boat to win ;D

Did he write it before his accident Welshy, or afterwards? Afterwards P. Part of it is written by his wife about the time he spent in hospital. Sometimes funny, sometimes very moving. Not sure about the signifigance of the title NO. It could describe how close he was to losing his life or the fact that anyone who drives fast is On The Edge because one mistake or unexepected moment can be the difference between life 'n' death ? I'm loving Heroes - can anyone remember what Nicky's son's skill was? And do you think that Peter's mum has a skill too?

Micah made the phone work when it was out of order and got loads of cash out of the cash machines. I'm sure Peter & Nathan's mum was somehow connected to Linderman in the past. Can't wait to see how it ends. FA x

It's getting really exciting isn't it? Athough I did guess that Peter wasn't dead ;D Ta for the reminder about Micah, although I still can't get the point of Nicky and her alter-ego Do you know how many more episodes there are?

I was wondering the other night if she had a power too but wondered what it could be.
I can't see the point of Nikki and Jessica though either. Micah and DL have quite good powers but hers is just like schizophrenia with super strength/violence when Jessica takes over. I don't get it lol She has the tattoo of the special one or whatever doesn't she and I saw it on someone else the other night too.
Oooooooooh I've not watched last nights yet. Have to wait for Emmerdale and corrie etc to finish and then go into the other room to watch.

I don't get the Nicky/Jessica thing either. Worst character in it if you ask me. I think there are about 3 or 4 more episodes to go in this series but they are already making a 2nd series. FA x

FA x I'm glad I'm not the only one to get her!!! I kinda thought that the bad ones had the funny "f" sign on them and it'll be interesting to see how the Nicky/Jessica role is involved in the saving of the world. I was sorry to see the Chris Ecclestone character go but then again he does like cameo roles and he was just a vehicle for Peter to get the invisibility power. It's all getting SO exciting! ;D I wonder if Lindeman is Peter's father?

I absolutely loathe the Children in Need telethon. I support the charity (I even wore a N*****h City kit a few years ago to raise money for it) but I just can't stand the actual tv show. I try to avoid it at all costs. I'm still enjoying The Tudors, even though the plague was all over in about ½ an hour last night FA x

I watched Cranford - and (to my surprise) really enjoyed it (thats me sorted for the next four Sundays then!)
I loved Kenny Everett NO and watched the prog tonight - but I didn't think it really did him justice? When I watched him first time round it was just about his mad sense of humour which I loved. x Tig
