I used to watch Buzzcocks but finally got fed up with Marc Lamarr. New bloke looks a bit like a teenage schoolboy for my liking - still have one and home, don't need another! OH and son still watch it.
Sorry WT, I love CRANFORD, in fact I watched episode 2 twice! I can't wait for this evening's episode - love costume drama! PJ

No Purple, I love Cranford too. I hadn't wanted to watch it initially, because I was forced to read the book at school. Shrub persuaded me though, now I'm hooked

They play the parts well - and it is a bit different from most historical dramas! Not so much bodice ripping - more bonnet removing x Tig

He waited for her all that time and then when he'd got her he died!! Boo-hoo Where did they do the filming? Doesn't look like anywhere I'm familiar with 'oop north'.

I must admit to enjoying Cranford too, but who is the serial killer? Will there be anyone left at the end?

Oh, it was 'orrible! I didn't see the last half hour (too tired!), but the claustraphobic feel of the film had me squirming before the bad guys showed up! OH loved it ;D

Watched Heston Blaumenthal last night - what is that man on??? The chili con canie looked delicious but who in their right mind would go through all that time and effort to make one? And heaven knows how much it would cost in his restaurant!

OH loved it ;D I watched a bit of it RM and could feel myself getting panicky in all those tight spaces they were crawling through. Ugh!!! Not for the faint hearted eh? Made myself fall asleep to escape the terror! ;D

And heaven knows how much it would cost in his restaurant! I think he is as mad as a box of frogs!! Is he the one whose "Best Restaurant in the World" serves Snail Porridge and other disgusting sounding dishes?

I don't want to go there! Apparently his other specialities, apart from Snail Porridge, include Salmon and Licquorice Sardine-on-toast Sorbet and Egg-and-Bacon Ice Cream!

Everything becomes clear ! It's a good ending, if a bit schmaltzy but leaves a good few open ends for the next series.
