I did see strangers Ladygardener, I didn't realise that was the title, seems a funny one to me.

Perhaps it's ment to imply that his wife was really a stranger Barbara, he did'nt know her at all did he, considering she had a child and a whole other life in Hong Kong.

Killing Eve starts tonight, not sure if it may be too tense for me, but I'll give it a go.

Killing Eve has been on RTE tv for the past 3 or 4 weeks Tig, Jenny has been watching it and says it's very good. I forgot about it. I'll do a series link thanks.

And it's been on Netflix I didn't fancy it, it looked like it would get me on edge.

It was a bit violent at times, but most of the first episode was around introducing the characters. I don't know if it was meant to be funny in parts, but I laughed a couple of times

Ha ha Tig I've had a few laughs too now I've started watching it. I think it's very very dark but the humour keeps it light as well. I could'nt see it on Netflix Barbara. I'm up to episode 4 now, I really like Sandra Oh and have'nt seen her in anything since she left Greys Anatomy a few years back.

There's a lot of corruption in the HK police force in Stangers! I must have missed something as I didn't understand why his wife had a separate flat in a closed diner?

Not me either Tig, all will become clear I think, they have American passports hidden there too.

Yes, and in false names from what I caught sight of, didn't recognise the surname, not Mulray was it? The daughter doesn't seem to know what was going on with her Mother, or if she does her reactions would have been different I think.

Yes I agree Barbara, it's really annoying when they do that.

The body guard is 15 minutes longer tonight, I hope it ties all the ends up, Derek thinks there will be a second series.

I was a bit bored after three quarter of an hour, there was too much time spent on 'the bomb' and the red herrings made most of his colleagues look stupid. Richard Madden performed very well for the most part, I suppose an actor can only do their best with the script they are given. I think there could well be another series, unless Richard gets offered the part of Bond.

Nor me - the trailer didn't draw me into it.
Strangers tonight, I read that the flat he visited was what she used to Skype him from while she was in Hong Kong to maintain her secret of the other husband and daughter. That bit makes more sense now.

I enjoyed the bodyguard, at times I felt it was very tense but I liked the ending. I recorded the series and then binge watched so I did'nt have to wait to see what happened. I watched the final 2 episodes together last night. I wonder if there will be another series, time will tell. It has been written that 11 million viewers watched it which was the highest number of viewers for a decade.
I've not watched any more of Strangers yet.
The Cry does'nt appeal to me.

Only one episode of strangers left now, it's becoming a bit clearer but why would two have two husbands, one is more than enough sometimes.

I'm falling out with Bake off as well, setting tasks that are supposed to take 24 hours and giving them 5 to do them in, and some of the contestants are not a patch on the 1st couple of seasons participants.

Love GBBO but agree that they should give them tasks which can be completed in the time allowed. This series the bakers have all been of a high standard so it is a close call. I would like Rahul to win. Hopefully they'll get back to making things we've heard of in future series

I'm struggling with GBBO too Auricula, it's always been a bit of sweet & fluffy telly to me, but this series I think some of them (especially Paul) have been pretty b****y nasty, which isn't what I watch it for. I want Kim-Joy to win, I did want Rahul to win at the beginning, but he's oh poor me bit is wearing a little bit thin now. But I think it's going to be Ruby.

I think it'll be Ruby too.....Paul has been harsher this series.

Rahul is enough to make me NEVER watch again, his constant whining is dreadful.

I would like Kim-Joy to win, she has shown a wonderful artistic talent to her creations.
Strangers has not lived up to expectations for me, started well then got a bit too bizarre, as for two husbands perhaps she married for convenience as she was pregnant after being raped, then married for love.
Going to miss GW tomorrow, if Beechgrove can produce a programme this week I don't understand why the Beeb stop GW so early, lots still to be done.

We gave up on Strangers.......after episode 2 They could extend GW as some of us have to garden all year round ( weeds, snails, grass, hedges ) They could pad out the practical parts of the programmes by showing garden visits, plant collections etc instead of taking up time in summer programmes. Surely the season in Scotland is shorter, so if Beechgrove can carry on? ? They could show winter veg and allotments We've started watching Trust ( about the Gettys ) and it's interesting because it is different. Still got Killing Eve and No Offence to begin....don't know where the time goes
