That's what I could do with - a tree that just fluffs up into shape and is all decorated! Like the sound of your holly Jen.

They have some in Home Base the trees are very tall but thin and that way they wont obscure the TV and get in everyone's way They do them in Silver Black and Pink and I am fed up with the same old same old tree with the same old same old decs and lights I put up every year - TIME FOR A CHANGE ;D

I have the black one decorated with blue and silver. It looks better than it sounds and we got it in B&Q.

One of the kiddies at school said they'd got a new black tree for this year. I was a bit surprised knowing the family but a change is as good as a rest I guess. Where did the holly come from Jen?

I saw the trees Jen, they were selling like hot cakes. I didn't get one - I'm going to check out the GC as they may have ones with real berries.

I bought some pressies yesterday as well. It was good to make a start although I don't have to buy very many. I'll be sending Ruth and family money so they can decide what to buy the boys. So long as they have something to open from me, Ruth can buy clothes for them. Jenny too will buy pressies for the girls from me from their letter to Santa. I'll be giving them their pressies as I'll see them around Christmas and most likely on Christmas Day.

I resisted too and if I cant find anything at the GC will get one from Tesco I can decorate it with some red and white gingham ribbon bows that will match the cushions on the chair outside the study window where it will sit i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/cool.gif

Glad I didnt buy the Holly Tree(£20) from Tesco as Sainsburys had some really pretty Christmas Trees for £10 (Real Ones) varying sizes for indoor and outdoor use I wanted something to pop by the front door so that will do nicely

That is a very stylish tree LG Unlike the cacophony of colour and ancient decorations that go on mine - I've made some new ones this year as well - bright colourful garish things ;D Not going to put it up until the week before Christmas though, it only gathers dust x Tig
