Yehhh! I bought 2 in M&S today - a Beano one and a Where's Wally one. I decided to stick with as much tradition as possible this year as we are cutting out our Christmas Eve visit to the pub as the food has gone a bit down hill and the boys were quite disappointed about that so they obviously like everything as it should be!!

The lights are just up in Heathfield and they look really festive...and quite tasteful..mostly the shops are outlined in white lights with a few more colourful Christmas things! I wondered what they were doing when I had my hair done on Thursday - obviously getting ready. Must dig out my cards and start writing them so I get them all done and off in time.

We had a right white frost overnight and just now when I was outside, some kids were asking if they could scrape the "snow" off the cars to make snowballs. They're keen. ;D

I'm not sure if I want to listen to him warbling other folk's songs although I just love Christmas albums!

I did think about getting my cards out last night to start writing them but thinking about it was as far as I got ;D
GD went to see Father Christmas today at the GC...she quite liked this one...once she saw the sack full of presents she was quite happy to go talk to him, she got a Peppa Pig book from him so she was well happy

Oh bless...she is going to have such a lot of fun this year Missy! They were saying in the paper that shops and shopping centres shouldn't have so many santas as children get confused and begin to doubt. I think that's a more cynical adult approach! I have had that card thought too - must getting writing my letter I send out with them!

Sainsburys has all it's Christmassy stuff at 1/3 off. I bought some battery operated white LED lights for the little tree that sits on top of the piano.

That reminds me, Jas. Our lights went last year, so we'll have to get new ones too. I shall still have a Christmas tree even in the chaos that we're living in! <determined look>.

Good for you Geranium - anything that'll keep your spirits up! I'm still wondering about getting a real tree or struggling with the huge whopper artificial tree we have!!

This year i am not going to hump the huge artificial tree out of the garage roof I am going to buy one of those tall slim ready lit ones and I saw some nice holly trees already in a tub with sack cloth in Tesco for sitting just outside by the front door
