I think I got John Grey from a seller on Ebay Ladygardener a couple of years ago. I have a little violet plant in a small pot which I will send to you with the bulbs. They get bigger by sending out runners so are easy to keep small if you want. I was reading an article on a violet farm in Dorset or Devon and there are Parma Violet plants - they have to be kept warmer and dryer than ordinary violets. The Parma Violets would'nt do too well here with all the rain we get Jasmine

Nor here LG, I think they suggested they should be kept in a GH and maybe got out in the summer.

It's a beautiful Snowdrop but I would'nt pay £155 for it which is what the current bid is.

I'm not sure about the green outer petalled snowdrops, nor yellow snowdrops....but then again I know I wouldn't say 'no' if offered either!

The bid is up to £180 now. It must be someone hoping to propagate it or something.

That one is not a million miles different from my doubles is it? Jasmine have I ever sent you any of mine? Jasmine this is the pic I took of Tig's double sent to me last year. The insides of this plant are equally pretty I think. The outer petals are different 'tho. That's a shocking price to pay for a bulb Rf but I guess if you're going to breed from it.

Here's the news from one of last year's papers....
A single Scottish Elizabeth Harrison snowdrop bulb was sold for a record £725 on the online auction website eBay yesterday.
It more than doubled the price of the previous most expensive bulb, a Green Tear, which went for £360 last month.
