I think this year's Hallowe'en show has been really good. I guess they've used all the usual songs in past years so they've used some slightly different ones this year! Zoe and Tess made a good combination although Zoe isn't quite as good as Claud.
Frankie got a 10!!!!

I agree, Jasmine, I think the kids in particular will really enjoy tonights show. I did think Zoe spoke too much and did'nt give the contestants much of a chance to speak 'tho. Frankie was good, I'm going to go ahead now and vote.

Result came in early tonight I thought Zoe did a really good job, hope Claudia's little one isn't too poorly. I hate theme weeks - too much emphasis on costumes make up and props and not enough on dancing Just my luck that the week after next will be Blackpool

I was wondering if they're doing Blackpool this year. Seems they are, I always think it's a bit of a let down after a big build up but perhaps this year will be different.

I thought last nights was really good & I'm not usually a fan of the theme nights either. I've got a soft spot for Zoe, she's local to me & always seems really genuine when you see her out & about. Shame there was no Claude though, think Halloween would have suited her down to the ground.
One thing that we commented on last night & I wondered if anyone else had noticed, does anyone think that the music hasn't been as good this year, I don't mean the music they're choosing, just the singing seems to be a bit off.

I hadn't noticed that Jilly, - I thought Dave Arch and his 'wonderful, wonderful orchestra' weren't getting the weekly recognition they used to get from Brucie but I may not be paying enough attention!...and if they're really not perhaps the singers are sulking!

Loved the joke about Bruno's comment about Scott being like the love child of Widdie and John Sargeant getting 2 complaints - from Widdie and John Sargeant!

I liked that one too Jasmine,. I think the bad singing is more noticeable in the more rocky tracks, it's possibly just that being my sort of music I notice it more & some of them are getting a bit obscure now & might not be that easy to learn in the time they get.

It would take a brave singer to take on Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights!

Jasmine, I've got a Harvey's Bristol cream on the go at this very moment. Picture the scene, Daisy (who is now deaf & frankly going a bit senile too) is meowing at the top of her voice when ever she feels like it & now I'm going to go get the beef in wafting round the kitchen singing Wuthering Heights, OH is going to leave home soon isn't he

I should think Daisy could be giving Kate Bush a run for her money! Cheers!

Just heard on the news that Claudia's 8 year old daughter is in hospital after being burned at some Hallowe'en celebration. 'Claudia hopes she makes a full recovery' - LT wanted to know why she'd be wanting anything else - welcome to the media

I was reading about it last night as well. Some people on DS made such a thing about her taking the night off and even now won't back down.

This week was interesting what with Jake and Frankie 'disappointing' the judges. I think Judy may be getting a little tiny, weeny bit better but not enough to keep going for much longer surely

Come on, own up - who's voting for Judy!!!! Goodness only knows who is voting for her. I have seen a different side of her on strictly 'tho and I do like her now. I'd always seen her as this very fierce determined mother of Andy Murray and thought her very severe. Now I see she can laugh at herself and takes all that the judges throw at her in her stride. Having said that surely she'll go home this week! I was relieved that Alison left at the weekend. I'd known her from her BB days but for some reason she did'nt come across well on strictly and her dancing did'nt improve at all from week to week. I was very surprised to see Caroline in the botton 2! I really like her although has anyone else noticed that Pasha seems to have gotten quite old all of a sudden. So it's Blackpool this weekend, a big milestone for the contestants.

I can't believe that a big beefy man like Steve has made a complaint of bullying against little Ola.

I can't believe that a big beefy man like Steve has made a complaint of bullying against little Ola. I read about that as well and I know others have been accused of something similar in the past but I thought they looked fine together on Saturday night, smiling and hugging as normal. It may well have been blown out of all proportion don't you think? I do however believe that bulling can take place no matter what size a person is, you cannot tell a bully just by looking at them and verbal or emotional bullying can and does happen.

Absolutely! We won't ever get the proper story though will we. Judy is a nice person unlike a lot of Anton's partners so along with Anton's fan base that is probably keeping them in!

Jenny posted this on fb. Everyone has already been in Strictly at some time or another. It would be quite good I think if it were not for BF being in it. BBC Strictly Come Dancing
Deck the halls with glitterballs! We can now reveal returning for our Christmas special are Chris Hollins, Lisa Riley, Louis Smith, Rachel Stevens, Russell Grant and Sophie Ellis Bextor.

I was reading - does it count as reading - Heat or Now magazine at the hairdressers just now and apparently folk want Tess out and Zoe and Claude to present SCD!

Jasmine, DS has been saying that since the 1st week Zoe presented, depending what paper you read they want Zoe and Tess, Tess and Claude, Claude and Zoe. All bets are covered.
