I'd say Caroline...and the bookies agree, apparently!

I've seen on some of the threads that they're thinking Caroline may win. I'll be voting for her and Pasha anyhow and if the girls want me to vote for Pixie, I'll vote for her as well. ccheesy
I'm really looking forward to the final tonight, I'm sure it'll be a good show as the standard is so high now. I think it could be anyone to win.....

Sunday morning and no spoiler. csad Thanks to all who provided it these past 12 or so weeks. Hope everyone enjoyed the show last night. I thought it was wonderful and could feel the excitement everyone must have had. Everyone was in with a chance if they had really gotten the public behind them. I think Caroline and Pasha were worthy winners and their Show Dance showed Mark and Karen how it should be done. It was brimming with emotion and I loved the choreography, Caroline emotes so well. Hope she gets lots of work from the show, I know she's on the tour anyhow.

It really was an amazing final, wasn't it, Ladygardener, and I agree - Caroline thoroughly deserved her win. It's a little different from the X factor win, though - the BBC give the winner a trophy for their mantlepiece, and ITV give £1m and a record contract! Couldn't the Beeb come up with something else? Ah well, they all seemed to have had a great time learning to dance, and that in itself is a prize worth having. csmile

The whole show was so exciting, sparkly and amazing but Caroline shone out. Pasha has had 2 wins now hasn't he - not bad for a fairly newcomer to the show! Well done them anyway!

Why? Who were you rooting for Auricula? I have to say I wasn't rooting for any of the 3 particularly and OH has been saying since the beginning that there is something not very nice about Caroline so lord only knows what she's ever done wrong!

Frankie and Kevin, from the very beginning Caroline was a bit smug for my liking. I didn't dislike any of the finalists but wanted this order... Frankie, Mark, Simon, Caroline

Pixie was OH's favourite, she reminded me ( in looks and voice) of a young Barbara Windsor cgrin

I wanted Frankie to win, but I have to say I couldn't get really into it this time, but I did enjoy the final.

Geranium, you're right about the difference between x factor and strictly, but everyone does get good exposure and who knows what will come of it in terms of work. Jasmine, I do wonder now what OH ment about caroline! Pixie was our favourite until she went out too, we were gutted but in the end the girls took it very well thankfully. I was far from impressed with Mark's showdance, it really was more like an exercise video.

I'm intrigued too Ladygardener, unless she has got herself into some sort of trouble at some point!

I was ear-wigging a conversation in the hairdresser's yesterday and the 'ladies' were very scathing about Caroline - they said she'd had private lessons with one of the professionals, so it wasn't fair that she won, but Mark should have because he started off as a complete novice. I was under the distinct impression that Frankie used to dance as part of her 'job' some years ago, so why didn't they pick on her? It simply doesn't work like that, does it. It's the couple who dance the best on the night and that was C & P without a doubt. Getting 3 sets of tens was quite something! csmile

It's difficult isn't it - any celeb that has been through stage school will have done some form of dancing. Our Nativity angels did a very simple little dance to one of the songs in the performance and it was easy to spot the girls who go to 'Baby Ballet' (one of Royal Tunny Well's dance schools!) SCD is just a bit of fun really...isn't it? cundecided ccheesy The fairest thing they do is the dance off so that 'dancers' like Widdy can be whittled out!

While they say "vote for your favourite and not "vote for the best dancer" it really doesn't matter.....it's a popularity poll. The good thing about it is that we are spared copious amounts of sob stories and family vts
