Jasmine, Thanks for the link, a few interesting names there. I'd love it if Eamon Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford taking part.

Oh no, I hope they do better than some of those suggestions! Who would we like to see doing it? I'd like to see Paul O'Grady & Sarah Millican to add some fun, Jane Torvill & Christopher Dean to see how they cope without skates & possibly Helen Mirren & Lawrence Fox.

Lawrence Fox would be interesting, he's been in the Bear Grylls programme I watched recently.

Paul O'Grady would be a hoot! Can't think who I'd like to see in it...Jeremy Clarkson needs something to do!

And Peter Andre is confirmed, and now Daniel O'Donnell - at least I know a few of them, some of the actors names mean nothing to me.

I'm not familiar with a few of the soapie people as I've lost touch with them all the past few years but I know Peter Andre and Daniel O'Donnell and of course Ainsley Harriott. Not a massive fan of any of those but I always find it interesting to see which professional dancers they are paired with.

Ruth was telling me yesterday that Len has said he won't be a judge on Dancing With the Stars this year. Perhaps that will help him to be a bit les grumpy this year.

I have the tv set on series record even though I watch ot.... GD no.1 told me last night that her and her Mummy have popcorn ready for tonights episode...she loves it...and she gets to stay up late. I had to laugh when I saw who Kristina got.... feel sorry her him though as I have a feeling she may get voted off fairly quickly

I really enjoyed watching the pairings last night. Really put me in the mood for watching and I'm looking forward to seeing how the relationships develop and getting to see how they all get on.

I enjoyed the launch show and look forward to 3 weeks time. I'm really glad there is no obvious "comedy" act this year

Interesting last night, wasn't it - two very good performances, especially Helen the midwife...I enjoyed watching her, and obviously, so did the judges.

I loved watching the show last night. Well I recorded it and watched it this morning. Some surprises and some very good performances indeed especially when you consider it was their 1st dance. I'm looking forward to tonight's show as well. Did everyone get to see it? Jasmine, Tig, Missredhead, Barbara, theinsidegardener, Auricula,

Great show. Carol was hopeless but seems to have a lovely personality. Daniel was a lot bit wooden ( can't be mean on the first week ) The others all gave a good account of themselves.....and........Tess seems to have made up with "wardrobe"

I enjoyed it too, such a shame that Carol was a bit rubbish as she seems so lovely, mind you I don't think the cha cha does any favours for a first dance, she'd have probably been better with a waltz.
Loving Claudia as always.

I've recorded it but caught a few snatches turning over in the adverts. Given it is their first performance and the nerves were kicking in I thought the couple I watched (Carol & Daniel) did OK. I wondered if Daniel was desperately trying not to be too close in hold, he seemed a little bit embarrassed to me.
